Local restaurants
						Dogan motel has a good restaurant and is very friendly. The owners (Sertan and Tayfun) know us well as we regularly stayed there when Villa Nurtan was being built. The guests are mainly British, with quite a few locals meeting at the bar, or staying there. If you want to use the beach and swimming pool, they will naturally expect you to eat/drink there. You can also pay in Sterling if you are running short of YTL. If you call Sertan and say you are from Villa Nurtan he will drive over and pick you up, saving you the 20 minute walk.
						The Palmiye motel, is at the far end of the village, on the main road towards Turgot. It is family owned and the service is friendly.
						Bilgin’s restaurant is the first restaurant on the road heading up towards the marina. Bilgin is friendly and speaks some English. He does good village breakfasts, and a range of main meals, including Turkish ravioli.
